On Monday 22nd March 2021, Guernsey entered “Stage Three” of Lockdown Exit. This means that again it is possible for church buildings to be unlocked during the day and for public worship to return without limitations. Vale Church is then returning to its pre-lockdown pattern of services:
- Sunday 8.00am – Said Eucharist in tradition language
- Sunday 10.30am – Parish Eucharist (or Family Eucharist on 3rd Sunday of the month)
- Wednesday 9.30am – Said Eucharist
- Thursday 7.30pm – Said Eucharist
8.00am Said Eucharist for the Third Sunday of Easter
Welcome to the website of the Ancient Priory and Parish Church of St Michel du Valle, Guernsey, generally known as Vale Church.
Vale Church is part of the Deanery of Guernsey. We are a member of the Church of England and under the episcopal oversight of Bishop Trevor Wilmott. During 2020 the Deanery of Guernsey will be linked to the Diocese of Salisbury.
On Sunday morning there are two services - a Said Eucharist in traditional language at 8.00am, and the Parish Eucharist at 10.30am. Treasure Seekers, our Sunday School, meet in the Billie and Leslie Norman Rooms from 10.15am.
On Wednesday morning there is a celebration of the Eucharist at 9.30am, followed by refreshments and bible study in the Billie and Leslie Norman Rooms from 10.15am.
